A traditional wedding in Mani

We feel particularly proud, as LOVE ME DO introduced the handkerchief invitations for the very first time. For this olive-tree inspired wedding in Mani, we designed the invitation on a cotton handkerchief with embroidery of the couple’s names in green and a traditional Greek embroidery pattern of two birds holding “stefana” (wedding crowns). Two cotton cloths with the embroidered pattern and the “Bride” and “Groom” indications in Greek were placed on the couple’s seats. Wedding treats were wrapped in pouches made of refined Guipure lace. The bespoke embroidery pattern featured printed on all other paper elements, such as the vow booklets, dinner signage, and name tags.
